Impressionizm is a 21st-century art movement that maintains many of the characteristics of the original 19th-century impressionism, however, it expands the creative abilities of the artist by utilizing digital tools, and at the same time loosens the emphasis of accurate or realistic light sources to include unnatural or unrealistic light sources as a discretion of artistic expression.
